TOLEDO, September 11, 2024: The Latino Alliance of Northwest Ohio has announced the celebration of the 35th Annual Diamante Awards as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. This event celebrates the profound and lasting influence that Latinos have on US-American history, values, and culture.
These awards were founded in 1989 by IMAGE of Northwest Ohio, a local Latino advocacy group. This year’s awards ceremony will take place on the campus of Lourdes University in Sylvania on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 6pm. Tickets available for purchase on Eventbrite.
Over the past 35 years, the Diamante Awards has honored over 175 community members and close to 1000 scholarships valuing upwards of $1 million.
