Conducts intake interviews with individuals referred to the probation department. Reviews court orders and conditions of supervision, collects information for the Ohio Risk Assessment System, performs criminal record checks, and provides assistance and support to probation staff, including supervision of inactive probationers. Strong skill in organizing work responsibilities in

  • a demanding and fast-paced environment required. May be assigned duties to other Associates Degree or completion of 60 semester hours toward a Bachelor Degree in criminal justice, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, required. Two (2) years’ work experience in court services, social services, paralegal or a related field, required. One (1) year prior probation or court experience preferred, but not required. Good knowledge of the court and community resources preferred, but not required. Interviewing skills and knowledge of the criminal justice system preferred, but not required. Must be LEADS certifiable. Start Rate is

$23.786 per hour or $49,474.88 annually. Full Rate is $26.429 per hour or $54,972.32 annually.
