Akron Zoo\u2019s Wild Lights features<\/strong> more than one million lights and fun photo-ops throughout the zoo. Enjoy the Rockin’ Lighted Spectacular with animated lights set to music for a holiday\u00a0dance party! See what trouble the Grinch can get into from Dec. 1-29, and visit with Santa Claus through Dec. 23. Listen to choirs from local high schools and organizations, and stop by Mrs.<\/a>\u00a0C’s Sweets for s’mores and other treats.<\/p>\n

Santa Express Tour (4:00 or 4:15 p.m.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unwrap the magic of the season with an exclusive, private tour before the Akron Zoo opens its gates to the public! The Santa Express Tour<\/em> will get you into the holiday spirit, culminating in a special, private 15 minute meet-and-greet with the man in the big red suit himself!<\/p>\n

The tour includes a 40 minute, elf-led golf cart tour of The Akron Zoo, filled with fun and fascinating animal information. Guests will receive a complimentary holiday light-up, s’mores and hot cocoa\u00a0vouchers for\u00a0a tasty treat! Reservations required.<\/p>\n

Wild Lights Safari Tours (5:00, 5:15, 6:00 or 6:15 p.m.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step into a realm of holiday enchantment with our Wild Lights Safari Tour!<\/em> This exclusive adventure invites you to bask in the magic of the season as an Educational-Elf guides you through a winter wonderland of twinkling lights.<\/p>\n

The tour includes <\/strong>A 45 minute education-led golf cart tour of the Akron Zoo (with limited walking through some sections), a complimentary holiday light-up\u00a0necklace and complimentary s’mores vouchers\u00a0to make a tasty treat.<\/p>\n

Zoothing Wild Lights<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5 –\u00a0 9 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This special date is available for guests with different abilities who may not enjoy crowds or loud noises to enjoy\u00a0the wildest holiday lighting display around! A limited number of tickets are available for our first ever Zoothing Wild Lights. Tickets are separate from general admission Wild Lights.<\/p>\n
