This mosaic mural, \u201cLa Mujer: A Tribute to Women,\u201d was created by participants in the\u00a0Emma S. Barrientos-Mexican American Cultural Center\u2019s (ESB-MACC) teen leadership program called \u201cCaminos,\u201d under the guidance of local muralist\u00a0J Muzacz<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the Caminos program\u00a0founder\u00a0Frederico\u00a0Geib. The teen artists are Abraham Hernandez, Ana Chavez, Anna Martinez, Bianca Olivares Reyes, Brandon Mu\u00f1iz, Elvis Mu\u00f1iz, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Gabby Gonzales, Natalia Dominguez and Samantha Seamon. According to ESB-MACC, this \u201cmosaic portrays the spirit, the struggle, and the resiliency of mujeres (women) to overcome socio-economic challenges in Austin and throughout the nation. From left are Dolores Huerta, a Ballet Folkl\u00f3rico dancer, a member of the all-female mariachi group Flor de Toloache, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and Tejano Singer Selena Quintanilla.
