This demonstrates how important bread is in all cultures. Almost every culture has bread, particularly flatbread or bread without yeast, which was developed in many cultures.<\/p>\n<p><em>Una vez o\u00ed a alguien decir que, cuando una pareja se casa, su primera discusi\u00f3n es qu\u00e9 receta de relleno de pan usar\u00e1 la madre de qui\u00e9n para el pavo de Acci\u00f3n de Gracias. Pita bread, a flatbread, is eaten in Middle Eastern countries. It can be used as a utensil for scooping hummus or stuffed into a falafel sandwich made of fried chickpea patties. The Bedouins have a lavash, circular flatbread that is folded so it can be packed for long trips on a camel through the desert. In India, naan is the soft, puffy flatbread made in a Tandoor oven for dipping. The French have perfected the cr\u00eape, a thin pancake-like bread made from batter or dough. They are filled with strawberries, cream, chocolate, salmon, or some other savory or sweet ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hay much\u00edsimos tipos de pan. Tortilla comes from the Spanish word \u201clittle cake\u201d and was originally eaten by the indigenous people of Mexico. Tortillas were originally made of maize hominy from corn and wheat flour later. Tortillas can be used in so many dishes. Of course, there are tacos with meat fillings, burritos, a Tex-Mex dish consisting of a wheat flour tortilla wrapped with a filling, or chalupas, a Mexican specialty dish with a shallow fried corn cup filled with meat, onions, and salsas of all sorts. Tortillas are also served with fajitas, strips of grilled meat served with peppers and onions.<\/p>\n<p><em>Las tortillas han sido un alimento b\u00e1sico en Mesoam\u00e9rica durante miles de a\u00f1os. The Mandarin pancakes are thin, tortilla-like cr\u00eapes served with a Moo Shu pork or chicken in a plum sauce, giving it a sweet and pungent taste when mixed with the shredded cabbage and mushrooms. The Jewish culture has an unleavened flatbread called matzo made from wheat, barley, spelt, rye, or oat. It is delicious with gefilte fish, poached groundfish such as carp or whitefish, and horseradish. Also, matzo can be broken into pieces and soaked, then added to an egg-like omelet for a matzo brei for breakfast topped with cream cheese.<\/p>\n<p><em>Incluso los chinos tienen una versi\u00f3n del pan plano. These food differences need to be respected, just like people do. Their decision could determine whose rules will be used in the household, thus having the dominant voice in the marriage. Even in groups of the same culture, there are disagreements and resolutions needed. Once you add other cultures to relationships, including food, language, music, religion, etc., things can get quickly complicated.<\/p>\n<p><em>La comida, especialmente el pan, es una parte importante de nuestra cultura, identidad y vida. Breaking bread together enriches our lives, especially for those of us who have the pleasure of befriending a stranger, and we are invited to break bread with them. Bread is life. Life is bread.
