Serve them with warm tortillas or alongside grilled meats for a true taste of tradition!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 lbs pinto beans<br \/>\n&#8211; \u00bd lb thick-cut bacon, diced<br \/>\n&#8211; 5 hot dogs, sliced<br \/>\n&#8211; 4 Roma tomatoes, diced<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 jalape\u00f1os, diced (adjust for heat preference)<br \/>\n&#8211; \u00bd white or yellow onion, diced<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 bunch fresh cilantro (\u00bd left whole, \u00bd finely chopped)<br \/>\n&#8211; 3 tablespoons minced garlic<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Salt as needed<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1 Teaspoon of onion powder<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1 Teaspoon of garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1\/2 Tablespoon of Chicken bouillon<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Prepare the Beans:<br \/>\nSort through the beans, removing any broken pieces or debris. Rinse well under cold water. For a shorter cook time, soak the beans overnight in water.<\/p>\n<p>2. Cook the Bacon &amp; Hot Dogs:<br \/>\nIn a large pan over medium heat, cook the diced bacon and sliced hot dogs until browned and slightly crispy. If you prefer a lighter dish, drain the excess fat\u2014otherwise, leave it for extra flavor.<\/p>\n<p>3. Check for Doneness &amp; Serve:<br \/>\nOnce the beans are tender and infused with flavor, remove the whole cilantro bunch and discard it.
