On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Toledo held its annual NAMIWalks event @ Middlegrounds Metropark in Toledo, Ohio. This event is a walk in support of people affected by mental illness. This year, the event brought together 689 people and had 71 teams of people interested in supporting this organization and its cause. This event raised $90,544 this year and is one of NAMI\u2019s largest fundraising events because it brings together a huge and diverse group of individuals and businesses interested in raising funds, the awareness of mental health, and combating the stigmas around mental illness. It had face painting, food trucks, and buttons that participants of NAMI Creative Expressions, the Create Now Art Workshop, designed and distributed during the event. Este evento apoya a las personas afectadas por enfermedades mentales.
