\"\"<\/a>It is important that many millions of citizens attend the NO KINGS Rally on June 14, 2025. <\/strong>These rallies will be held in 1,400 different locations around the country. As you know, on April 5, 2025, over 1,300+ locations around the country held \u201cHands Off\u201d rallies in protest against actions being taken by the Trump administration. It was estimated that over 3 million people, and possibly between 4 to 5 million attended these events. This was the first large, national rally against Trump\u2019s threats to our Democracy.<\/p>\n

Citizen Protests<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the U.S. Congress being controlled by MAGA members, there are many who believe that stopping wrongful actions by the Trump administration must include large mass protests by citizens. Since the April 5 protests, there have been rallies almost each week around the U.S. While there have regularly been large crowds, the rallies since April 5, have been in far fewer locations.<\/p>\n

The 3-5 Rule<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erica Chenoweth, a political scientist at Harvard University, studied hundreds of citizen campaigns over the past century. Her research showed that nonviolent protests<\/strong> are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts\u2026 and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The No Kings Rally<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second large national rally in protest of the Trump administration will take place on June 14, 2025. This is the same date that Trump has scheduled his Military Parade in Washington, D.C. Trump believes that the sight of soldiers and weapons on the streets of our capital will instill fear and will make citizens believe that he is strong. Trump is also using the Military Parade as a celebration of his birthday. Army officials indicated that the cost of the Military Parade is currently estimated to be up to $45 million.<\/p>\n

Organizers of the No Kings Rallies on June 14, 2025, believe that Trump\u2019s use of $45 million of taxpayer dollars for a Military Parade and celebration of his birthday will motivate very large crowds to turn out across the country in protest. In order to reach the level of attendance needed for the 3-5 Rule, approximately 11 million people will need to participate in future rallies. Organizers of the No Kings rallies have set a goal to have at least 1,000 locations where these rallies will be held in multiple locations and in every state on June 14.<\/p>\n

A Call to Action<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the mid-term elections in 2026 get closer, it is important that protest rallies approach or exceed 11 million attendees. Plan to not only attend a June 14, 2025, No Kings Rally,<\/strong> but to also encourage family members, friends, work associates, and others to join you in attending.
