\"\"<\/a>Casa de Rosado Galeria and Cultural Center is hosting Lansing\u2019s 29th D\u00eda de Los Muertos celebration at the Michigan History Museum on November 1- November 2, 2025.<\/p>\n

Casa de Rosado is looking for a calavera image 8\u201d x 10\u201d or 16\u201dx 20\u201d (vertical) to represent the celebration on social media & event materials and will select one winner of $500.\u00a0Other selected images will be on display during the event. Get your inspiration from Jose Guadalupe Posada<\/em>, the broadsheet artist that produced thousands of Calaveras celebrating life. No Halloween, gore or spooky art, only vibrant, joyful and celebratory art to welcome our ancestors return.<\/p>\n

Last year nearly a two thousand people visited the center during this celebration.<\/p>\n

Art will be judged\u00a0by artist Theresa Rosado whom founded Casa de Rosado Galeria and Cultural Center in 2016.<\/p>\n

This year Casa de Rosado is blessed to receive funds donated for artists through patrons. After significant DEI cuts that eliminated the exhibit & operation budget, the community is responding by personally donating to ensure the tradition of D\u00eda de Los Muertos continues in Michigan.<\/p>\n
