Reynolds Rd. They are open Monday through Sunday (every day) from 11 am to 9 pm. According to the owners, Oscar Gomez y Yamirka Monzon, \u201cSweet Havana is not your ordinary restaurant, it is an experience. It is your passport to Cuba.\u201d Gomez y Monzon told La Prensa, LLC, that they opened this restaurant because they noticed the city of Toledo \u201cdidn\u2019t have a \u2018real\u2019 Cuban restaurant that captures the essence of Cuba.\u201d And they felt it was their job to fill this gap and create a place, from their \u201cheart,\u201d that pays special attention to details in their food and place. It was essential for the owners to create a space where people could visit and feel as if they were in Cuba. Sweet Havana, located in a shopping strip, is filled with bright colors and beautiful artwork. It is, according to the owners, \u201cun rinconcito de La Habana, lleno de buena vibra, sabor, y servicio con alma.\u201d Gomez y Monzon invite you to come out and visit their place, to \u201cfeel as if you are in Cuba\u2026 without ever leaving Toledo.\u201d Order their tostones (green plantains), because I rarely ever find them anywhere this thin, crisp, and soft, or their yucca fries, or maduro plantains- amazing! My friends had the Ropa Vieja. I also ordered a Mango Milkshake to satisfy my sugar craving. Seg\u00fan sus propietarios, Oscar G\u00f3mez y Yamirka Monz\u00f3n, &#8220;Sweet Havana no es un restaurante cualquiera; es una experiencia. Para los propietarios era fundamental crear un espacio donde la gente pudiera visitarlo y sentirse como en Cuba. Sweet Havana, ubicado en una zona comercial, est\u00e1 lleno de colores vibrantes y hermosas obras de arte. Es, seg\u00fan los due\u00f1os, &#8220;un rinc\u00f3n de La Habana, lleno de buena vibra, sabor, y un servicio con alma.&#8221; G\u00f3mez y Monz\u00f3n te invitan a visitar y sentirte como estas en Cuba&#8230; pero sin salir de Toledo. Cuando pides comida, pide sus tostones (pl\u00e1tanos verdes), porque es raro encontrar los tan finos, crujientes, y suaves, o sus yucas fritas, o pl\u00e1tanos maduros: \u00a1incre\u00edbles! Mis amigos pidieron la Ropa Vieja.
