School has started, and La Prensa, LLC would like to remind everyone of the importance of education and of being in school every day, ready to learn. ATTENDANCE MATTERS!!!<\/p>\n

On August 25th<\/sup>, Latinx leaders, Toledo Public Schools (TPS) Superintendent Dr. Durant, Board Member Mr. Vasquez, staff, and the Avance Latinx Acad\u00e9mico Society (ALAS) board members filled the Escuela hallway to welcome students for the 2025 school year. Music was played at the school’s entrance by Hector Mendoza, and the Alebrijes Mariachis will be ready to perform this year throughout the community, beginning with Hispanic Heritage, which starts on September 15 and runs until October 15.<\/p>\n

El 25 de agosto, l\u00edderes Latinxs, con el Superintendente de las Escuelas P\u00fablicas de Toledo (TPS) Dr. Durant, un miembro de la junta de TPS, el Sr. V\u00e1squez, y miembros de Avance Latinx Acad\u00e9mico Society (ALAS) llenaron el pasillo de la escuela para dar la bienvenida a los 2025 estudiantes. H\u00e9ctor Mendoza toc\u00f3 m\u00fasica en la entrada de la escuela, y los Mariachis Alebrijes estaban all\u00ed listos para presentarse este a\u00f1o en toda la comunidad, comenzando con la Herencia Hispana, que comienza el 15 de septiembre y se extender\u00e1 hasta el 15 de octubre.<\/p>\n
