Los Lonely Boys of San Angelo, Texas, put on a great show this past Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Flagstar Strand Theatre for the Performing Arts in Pontiac, Michigan. Being that it was my first time in Pontiac, Michigan, I found the downtown area, where the theatre is located, to be lovely, calm, clean, and welcoming. This evening, in particular, was wonderful and calm for November in Michigan. And the theatre, where Los Lonely Boys were playing, was a small and intimate place that allowed me to feel the music and see the band up super close, as if it were a private party. What was extra nice and surprising was to see friends from Toledo in the audience and sitting only two rows in front of us- Yvonne Ramos-Ybarra and her husband, Michael J. Ybarra of Grupo Fuego, Gina Casiano-Duran, Victor Gonzales and friends (see the photo).<\/p>\n

It was all about peace, love, and making music, especially if you like the mix of rock & roll and country music that has a Tejano, Spanglish, soul, which Los Lonely Boys call \u201cTexican Rock n\u2019 Roll\u201d! They were truly enjoying themselves, their music, and sharing it with the audience all night, who were loving it to its fullest. In fact, we look forward to seeing this amazing Grammy Awards\u2019 group of only three brothers, Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza, again, somewhere else in Southeast or western Michigan, Ohio, or even Texas. They have an ongoing concert tour schedule that canvases the U.S., spreads the message of peace and love, during a time this nation needs it the most, and a new album they released on August 2, 2024, called \u201cResurrection.\u201d Keep reading La Prensa, Inc. to keep you updated on when they will be playing again around here.<\/p>\n

Los Lonely Boys de San Angelo, Texas, ofrecieron un gran espect\u00e1culo el pasado viernes 7 de noviembre de 2025 en el Teatro Flagstar Strand para las Artes Esc\u00e9nicas en Pontiac, Michigan. Como era mi primera vez en Pontiac, Michigan, me pareci\u00f3 que el centro, donde se encuentra el teatro, era encantador, tranquilo, limpio y acogedor. Esa noche, en particular, fue maravillosa y tranquila para ser noviembre en Michigan. El teatro, donde tocaron Los Lonely Boys, era un lugar peque\u00f1o e \u00edntimo que me permiti\u00f3 sentir la m\u00fasica y ver a la banda muy de cerca, como si fuera una fiesta privada. Lo que fue a\u00fan m\u00e1s agradable y sorprendente fue ver a amigos de Toledo entre el p\u00fablico, sentados solo dos filas delante de nosotros: Yvonne Ramos-Ybarra y su esposo, Michael J. Ybarra, de Grupo Fuego, Gina Casiano-Duran, Victor Gonzales y amigos (ver la foto).<\/p>\n

Todo fue por la paz, el amor y la m\u00fasica, especialmente si te gusta la mezcla de rock & roll y country con toques tejanos, spanglish y soul, que Los Lonely Boys llaman \u201cTexican Rock n\u2019 Roll\u201d! Disfrutaron much\u00edsimo de su m\u00fasica y la compartieron con el p\u00fablico toda la noche, que la disfrut\u00f3 al m\u00e1ximo. De hecho, esperamos volver a ver a este incre\u00edble grupo de tres hermanos, Henry, Jojo y Ringo Garza, en alg\u00fan otro lugar del sureste u oeste de Michigan, Ohio o incluso Texas.
