The Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council\u2019s (OMSDC) Annual Awards Gala was held this year on November 21, 2025, in the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. It was a full masquerade party, with people on stilts, everyone wearing masks, and the colors for women and men that evening seem to be an emerald green or a Christmas burgundy. People came from all over the U.S., as one guest told me, \u201cto network\u201d at this event. Awards were even given to outstanding corporations, MBE\u2019s and civic leaders that accompanied a very personal and moving video of the awardee and how the OMSDC has supported them.<\/p>\n

Taken from their website, the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (OMSDC) is a non-profit, 501c3 organization dedicated to providing a direct link between Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and its Corporate Members. Founded in 1972, the Ohio MSDC certifies minority businesses, provides MBEs with access to procurement opportunities, and assists Corporations in the development and maintenance of effective corporate supplier diversity programs. Over the past five decades, Ohio. MSDC has been a bridge between corporate America and minority owned businesses. Every year, Ohio MSDC\u2019s Corporate Members spend over $7 billion with MBEs certified by the Council (www.ohiomsdc.org).<\/p>\n

Fue una aut\u00e9ntica fiesta de m\u00e1scaras, con gente en zancos, todos con mascarillas, y los colores para hombres y mujeres esa noche parec\u00edan ser el verde esmeralda o el borgo\u00f1a navide\u00f1o. Acudieron personas de todo Estados Unidos, como me coment\u00f3 un invitado, para “hacer contactos” en este evento.
