The Toledo Old Newsboys Goodfellows Association works with over 170 schools, police, fire, and other organizations to make sure that \u201cNo child shall miss school for lack of shoes or coat.\u201d In addition, they provide relief in many other ways with scholarships, food baskets, emergency food vouchers, and gift cards for families in need.<\/p>\n

The Toledo Newsboys are a big part of our local community\u2019s history, and this year they are honored to announce the 96th Annual Charity Paper Sale<\/strong> this Friday, December 5, 2025<\/strong>, from dawn to dusk.<\/p>\n

The Toledo Newsboys are a 100% charity.\u00a0Everyone\u00a0volunteers<\/strong> their time with the Toledo Newsboys. There are no paid administrators! All monies collected go directly back into the community. Last year they provided over $200,000 in assistance to families and organizations in Northwest Ohio and anticipate an even greater output this year.<\/p>\n

You know those RED JUGs you see people holding throughout town on that day, ringing their bells, well it wouldn\u2019t be the holidays without them and their volunteers in our local communities holding their signature RED JUGs as they collect donations and hand out their Charity Edition of their Newspaper that highlights the impact they made last year.<\/p>\n

VOLUNTEER to be a part of our team! Volunteer for whatever time you can give at a location in NW Ohio that suits you! Put a RED JUG in your place of business to encourage others to donate for kids! Los Toledo Old Newsboys Goodfellows Association colabora con m\u00e1s de 170 escuelas, polic\u00edas, bomberos y otras organizaciones para garantizar que \u201cNing\u00fan ni\u00f1o falte a la escuela por falta de zapatos o abrigo.\u201d Adem\u00e1s, brindan ayuda de muchas otras maneras con becas, canastas de alimentos, cupones de alimentos de emergencia y tarjetas de regalo para familias que los necesitan.<\/p>\n
