\nIf your inbox is like mine, it is jammed with Giving Tuesday appeals to support the many diverse and very worthy causes around us and the world. \u201cGiving Tuesday\u201d is a day devoted to investing in charitable organizations like the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR)-USA.
\nFOR-USA is an interfaith organization. Its mission is to organize, train, and grow a diverse movement of people of conscience committed to using the transformative power of nonviolence to create peace, end structures of violence and war, and build, as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would say, \u201cthe beloved community.\u201d
\nSo, if you missed that day of giving, since it has now passed, you can still invest in PEACE and peacemaking by donating to FOR-USA. Because in the midst of today’s social, political, and economic devastation and polarization, this insight of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that \u201cThere comes a time when silence is betrayal,\u201d seems even more critical now than ever before. In the fierce urgency of now, FOR-USA will continue to raise our voices with love and conviction. And as we prepare for the year ahead, we ask for your support to ensure that we DO NOT remain silent.
