\"\"<\/a> Helping To Deliver Hurricane Relief in Jamaica<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compassion @ Calvary Pastors, Bishop Chaz D. Boes & Pastor Alicia Boes and their family, joined numerous other pastors, missionaries, and community members in Jamaica last week to deliver hurricane relief and to see first-hand the devastation that has left much of Jamaica in need of food, generators, basic needs, school supplies, roofing and construction materials, and assistance in rebuilding their communities, churches, schools, and homes. When you travel through the city of Negril, Montego Bay, and the area parishes, you witness the grocery store shelves half empty, restaurants are out of food that you could typically order on their menu, and many businesses are not fully operational. The hurricane has left many people without work. Even places of worship and schools had their roofs torn off, buildings demolished, and or damage due to flooding. Making this a very good time to visit Jamaica, 1) to help in the rebuilding, 2) to enjoy the seclusion, and 3) to help the economy and sustain employment. Los pastores de Compassion @ Calvary, el Obispo Chaz D. Boes y la Pastora Alicia Boes, junto con su familia, se unieron a numerosos pastores, misioneros y miembros de la comunidad en Jamaica la semana pasada para distribuir ayuda tras el hurac\u00e1n y presenciar de primera mano la devastaci\u00f3n que ha dejado a gran parte de Jamaica necesitada de alimentos, generadores, art\u00edculos b\u00e1sicos, \u00fatiles escolares, materiales para techos y construcci\u00f3n, y asistencia para reconstruir sus comunidades, iglesias, escuelas y hogares. Al recorrer la ciudad de Negril, Montego Bay y las parroquias de la zona, se observa que los estantes de los supermercados est\u00e1n medio vac\u00edos, los restaurantes se han quedado sin comida que normalmente se podr\u00eda pedir en su men\u00fa y muchos negocios no est\u00e1n operando a pleno rendimiento. El hurac\u00e1n ha dejado a muchas personas sin trabajo. Incluso lugares de culto y escuelas sufrieron da\u00f1os por las inundaciones, como techos arrancados, edificios demolidos o da\u00f1os. Esto hace que este sea un excelente momento para visitar Jamaica: 1) para ayudar en la reconstrucci\u00f3n, 2) para disfrutar del aislamiento y 3) para impulsar la econom\u00eda y mantener el empleo.
