Woodward High School<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Toledo Public Schools (TPS) Community Transformation Plan meetings kicked off with a full house at Woodward High School on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The auditorium was filled with people eager to hear if Superintendent Dr. Durant was going to keep Woodward High School open, if they could or would be invited to share their thoughts, suggestions, and or learn of what is being cut, changed, or transformed for a better learning and working environment. The evening went from hearing Dr. Durant say that \u201cWoodward High School will stay open,\u201d to everyone being given a QR Code to fill out a community survey that had you rank items the district is considering cutting or transforming. Those in attendance were also given a survey in English or Spanish, and on paper, asking them similar questions with rankings. The Community Transformation Plan meetings are in sign language, and Spanish translation is available upon request. The next two (2) TPS Community Transformation Plan Meetings will be held at Bowsher High School on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm \u2013 6:30 pm. and on February 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm at Start High School. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Escuela Preparatoria Woodward<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las reuniones del Plan de Transformaci\u00f3n Comunitaria de las Escuelas P\u00fablicas de Toledo (TPS) comenzaron con la Escuela Preparatoria de Woodward el mi\u00e9rcoles 4 de febrero de 2026. El auditorio estaba lleno de personas ansiosas por saber si el superintendente, Dr. Durant, mantendr\u00eda abierta la Escuela Preparatoria Woodward, si les invitar\u00edas pudieran compartir sus ideas y sugerencias, o si se les informar\u00eda sobre los recortes, cambios o transformaciones que se realizar\u00edan para mejorar el entorno de aprendizaje y trabajo. El evento comenz\u00f3 con el anuncio del Dr. Durant de que “la Escuela Preparatoria Woodward permanecer\u00e1 abierta,” y continu\u00f3 con la entrega de un c\u00f3digo QR a todos los asistentes para que completaran una encuesta comunitaria en la que deb\u00edan clasificar los elementos que el distrito est\u00e1 considerando recortar o transformar. Los asistentes tambi\u00e9n recibieron una encuesta impresa en ingl\u00e9s o espa\u00f1ol, con preguntas similares y opciones de clasificaci\u00f3n. Las reuniones del Plan de Transformaci\u00f3n Comunitaria cuentan con interpretaci\u00f3n en lenguaje de se\u00f1as y traducci\u00f3n al espa\u00f1ol es disponible. Las pr\u00f3ximas dos (2) reuniones del Plan de Transformaci\u00f3n Comunitaria de TPS se llevar\u00e1n a cabo en la Escuela Preparatoria Bowsher el mi\u00e9rcoles 11 de febrero de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 6:30 p. m., y el 18 de febrero de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 6:30 p. m. en la Escuela Preparatoria Start.<\/strong><\/p>\n
