Yet, according to the Federal Highway Administration 2023, Functional System Lane-Length, Ohio ranked 3rd in the country for urban interstate lane miles, exceeded only by California and Texas. Clearly, the proportional representation of Ohio in this race, for gobbling up more land for interstate, is severely misaligned. Texas is six times larger in area than Ohio and has over two and a half times greater population yet calculates only a 55% difference in urban interstate lane-miles.<\/p>\n<p>With the overwhelming account provided here, our six years of research lets us know: This is a bad plan for all citizens.
