(TOLEDO, OH)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 This past Saturday, July 11, 2026, the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) hosted an America 250-Ohio: Homecoming and Picnic <\/em>& the TMA\u2019s 125th<\/sup> Anniversary<\/em>. The America 250-Ohio: Homecoming and Picnic <\/em>is a statewide celebration that brought communities together across Ohio. The combined event was a free, family-friendly event held on the Glass Pavilion Lawn and in the Glass Pavilion. On the lawn, there were tents filled with people giving away free goodies, from samples of desserts to stickers and pins, a stage with bands playing music, and native indigenous tribes and local historians sharing their history, culture, stories, and beautiful art. You could even create a piece of art with the Toledo Museum of Art Ambassadors (TMAA). Food trucks were also available.\u00a0This event was sponsored by the America 250-Ohio Commission and presented by Cenovus Energy. It was celebrated alongside the Toledo Museum of Art\u2019s 125th Anniversary, with additional support from The Worthington Companies Foundation, The Marzetti Company and the Rita B. Kern Foundation.<\/p>\n

Admission and parking to TMA are always free, welcoming everyone to explore the museum\u2019s galleries. TMA is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and select holidays. TMA is located at 2445 Monroe St., just one block off I-75, with exit signs posted for easy access.
