COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 24, 2022: Ohio Governor Mike DeWine issued a \u00a0reprieve of execution for Quisi Bryan,\u00a0who was scheduled to be executed on October 26, 2022.\u00a0 The new date of execution has been moved to January 7, 2026.<\/p>\n
Governor DeWine is issuing this reprieve due to ongoing problems involving the willingness of pharmaceutical suppliers to provide\u00a0drugs\u00a0to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC), pursuant to DRC protocol, without endangering other Ohioans.<\/p>\n
