Friend,<\/em><\/p>\n 50 years ago, the Supreme Court gave women the fundamental right to make their own reproductive health decisions. Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, that right is gone.<\/p>\n Make no mistake, this awful decision puts the lives of women at risk. Twenty-six states are on the verge of banning abortion. Thirteen have laws that go into effect immediately.<\/p>\n Women should have the right to make their own health care decisions, not judges and politicians.<\/strong><\/p>\n So I\u2019m angry, and I know you are too.<\/p>\n But we can\u2019t despair. We have to turn our anger into action.<\/p>\n Millions of women and their families are counting on us to do everything in our power to ensure reproductive freedom champions win in the upcoming midterms.<\/p>\n In Michigan, that fight is especially urgent. To protect the fundamental rights of women, Democrats must win critical races from the U.S. House to the Governor\u2019s office. And, we absolutely have to take back the State Legislature from the extreme Republicans currently in power.<\/p>\n Friend, can you please contribute $17 or more right now and do your part to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ticket in 2022?
