Create & Perform is an innovative two-week program in which young people create their own stories, music compositions, and dances, culminating in a performance at the Detroit Opera House. Participants in the Create & Perform program get to take part in all aspects of mounting a new production, and will build their skills as performers, composers, designers, directors, and crew members while they write and perform an original opera. Final performance will take place Friday, July 15 at 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Operetta Remix<\/strong>
\nJuly 25 – August 5, 2022
\nAges 13-18
\n10:00 am – 4:00 pm<\/p>\n

Operetta Remix is perfect for young people ages 13 to 18 who want to gain experience and receive direction in singing, acting, stage movement, healthy vocal technique, and audition practice. Taught by experienced opera and theatre professionals, Operetta Remix will explore scenes and songs from your favorite operettas and musicals, and will culminate with a performance at the Detroit Opera House at 6:30 p.m. on August 5, 2022.<\/p>\n
