The campaign will entail engaging social media posts on <em>Facebook, Instagram, Twitter<\/em>, and <em>LinkedIn<\/em> to highlight local statistics, resident stories, and acts of collaboration leading to positive change in <em>Greater Lorain County<\/em> alongside a $10 donation ask.<\/p>\n<p>Funds raised from the campaign will be used over five impact initiatives to help local individuals and families. The five impact initiatives are <em>2-1-1 First Call for Help<\/em>, <em>Free Tax Preparation<\/em>, <em>Toddlers &amp; Tweens<\/em>, <em>Total Health<\/em>, and <em>Lorain County Mobility Management<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis unique fundraiser maximizes our impact when we give $10 and then ask ten friends to also give $10,\u201d said <em>Colleen Walts, Marketing and Engagement Director<\/em> at <em>United Way of Greater Lorain County<\/em>. \u201cGifts then compound to make an even bigger difference to residents in need. I\u2019m happy to give up my specialty coffee drink for a day when I know my donation gives local children access to books or helps someone in crisis avoid eviction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The goal of <em>Together on $10<\/em> is to ask 1,000 people for a $10 donation ultimately raising $10,000 total or collecting $2,000 in each impact initiative.
