NOVEMBER 7, 2022, CLEVELAND, OH:\u00a0\u2013 Celebrate winter at Cleveland Public Library!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starting Saturday, November 26, the Main Library Campus in Downtown Cleveland and our neighborhood libraries will transform into a WinterLand\u00a0complete with reindeer, holiday-themed stories, crafts, and a live performance by the Cleveland Opera Theater.<\/p>\n

BRIGHT LIGHTS, READING NIGHTS:\u00a0Author\u00a0Emily Kilgore\u00a0will spread a little holiday cheer as she reads her newest picture book,\u00a0The Christmas Book Flood, under the lights of Main Library\u2019s Eastman Reading Garden on Friday, December 2 from 6:00 p.m. \u2013 8:30 p.m.\u00a0Each family will receive a free autographed copy of\u00a0The Christmas Book Flood\u00a0while supplies last. Families will also enjoy festive treats and live music. The RTA Holiday Trolley will also stop at Main Library with a special guest.<\/p>\n

After the Eastman Reading Garden event, attendees can stroll through our pop-up StoryWalk in Public Square while appreciating the colorful lights.\u00a0StoryWalk on the Square will be on display through Friday, January 6.<\/p>\n

WINTERLAND STORY STOP:\u00a0Visit Brett Hall in Main Library to enjoy seasonal stories on Saturday afternoons: December 3, 10 & 17 at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

WINTER WONDER STATION:\u00a0Get cozy and crafty at Main Library\u2019s Brett Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, December 6 \u2013 22 from 2 p.m. \u2013 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Can\u2019t make it downtown?\u00a0Visit one of our\u00a0neighborhood libraries\u00a0for holiday-themed take-and-make activities,\u00a0classic movies, and cookbooks for a holiday recipe, or create a gift with\u00a0our maker equipment and new\u00a0Cricut\u00ae machines.<\/p>\n

CLEVELAND READS:\u00a0Join the\u00a0Cleveland READS\u00a0challenge and win! The goal of the citywide reading campaign is to read one million books in 2023. The challenge is for children and adults. Readers are eligible to win fabulous prizes.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Reads kickoff event will be held Saturday, December 17 from noon \u2013 3 p.m. at Public Auditorium, 500 W.
