The renovation and expansion highlights include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Restoring the original vaulted ceiling and dormers to flood the interior with natural light<\/li>\n<li>Restored the architectural beautiful slate roof<\/li>\n<li>Activated the lower level to better utilize the building<\/li>\n<li>Reopening the original West 157<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Street entrance to offer better pedestrian access<\/li>\n<li>Improved access to the building\u2019s lower level<\/li>\n<li>Flexible spaces with additional meeting rooms, an expanded children\u2019s area, a teen nook, and book lockers for after-hours access to materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The West Park Campus project is part of the Library\u2019s plan to build or renovate every neighborhood branch over the next decade.
