DETROIT, MI, Thursday, April 27, 2023: The Orioles flew into Detroit to start a 4 game series with the Tigers and exploded with 5 runs in the 7th<\/sup> to defeat the home team. Anthony Santander, Designated Hitter (#25) out dueled his fellow Venezuelan Miguel Cabrera, Designated Hitter (#24) by homering to left center that scored 2. Cabrera, went 0-5 and is now batting under .200.<\/p>\n

The visiting team went on to take 3 of the 4 games, losing the first of a double header on Saturday (Fridays game was rained out), then taking the next two. For the Tigers, they play host to the visiting Mets, where two former Tigers Pitchers are set to appear. Expecting to start on Wednesday, is Max Scherzer, Starting Right Handed Pitcher (#21). Thursday, Justin Verlander, Starting Right Handed Pitcher (#35) is expected to make his debut for New York, it will be his first game since starring his arm back in March.<\/p>\n
