SYLVANIA, OH, July 16, 2023: The torrid rain during the 3rd Round of the Dana Classic couldn\u2019t stop Linn Grant (Viken, Sweden) from claiming victory on Sunday. She shot -9 thru the first 13 holes, with thoughts of eclipsing the magical 59 that fellow Swede Annika Sorenstam did in 2001. On Sunday, she continued her masterful ways hitting 12\/14 fairways, averaging 266 yards in driving distance to finish at -21 to win.<\/p>\n

Several Latina Players played in the Tournament including Maria Fassi (Pachuca, Mexico) and Gabby Lopez (Mexico City, Mexico) who finished 6th and 7th<\/sup> respectively. Lopez, was vying for her 2nd straight win in Sylvania. Also finishing in the top 15 was Carlota Ciganda (Spain) who tied for 12th.<\/p>\n

This weekend the LPGA Tour travels to Midland, MI for the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, a stroke-play team competition. Seven Latinas are scheduled to play, including Fassi.
