CLEVELAND, OH, August 18, 2023:<\/strong> Thursday night\u2019s torrential rainfall canceled the first of 4 games for the visiting Tigers, who were eager to take on the Guardians.\u00a0 Four games later, Detroit would leave with 3 wins and\u00a0head back to Detroit for a 10 game homestead.\u00a0\u00a0 The first game was won 4-2, the second game was lost 4-1 (Jose Cisneros struggled and gave up 3 runs in the 8th), Saturday\u2019s game was one 4-3 and the final was also won 4-1.\u00a0 As of Monday (8-21-22), the Tigers remained 8 games back of first place Minnesota, with 37 games remaining.<\/p>\n
