\"\"EAST LANING, MI <\/strong>\u2014<\/strong> Wharton Center announced that the Lansing Symphony Orchestra will perform Harry<\/em> Potter and the Sorcerer\u2019s Stone <\/em>in Concert<\/strong> on Friday, November 17, at 8<\/strong>PM,<\/strong> and Saturday, November 18, at 2<\/strong>PM<\/strong>,<\/strong> 2023,<\/strong> as part of the Harry Potter<\/em><\/strong> Film Concert Series<\/strong><\/a>. The concert will feature the Lansing Symphony Orchestra performing live, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer\u2019s Stone<\/em>.\u00a0 Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the entire film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the Lansing Symphony Orchestra perform John Williams\u2019 unforgettable score live. In 2016, CineConcerts<\/a> and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced the Harry Potter <\/em>Film Concert Series, a global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter<\/em> films. Since the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer\u2019s Stone<\/em> in Concert in 2016, more than 3 million fans have enjoyed this magical experience from The Wizarding World, which is scheduled to include over 2,973 performances across more than 48 countries worldwide through 2025.<\/p>\n

In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer\u2019s Stone, <\/em>Harry Potter learns on his 11th<\/sup> birthday that he is the orphaned son of two wizards and possesses magical powers of his own. At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he learns the high-flying sport of Quidditch and plays a thrilling \u2018live\u2019 chess game en route to facing a Dark Wizard bent on destroying him.<\/p>\n
