Daniel Ram\u00f3n Barboza, age 47, of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023. He was born on July 26, 1976 in Toledo, OH to Pablo S. Pecina and Melinda S\u00e1nchez. Daniel attended St. Vincent and St. Hedwig grade schools and was a graduate of Woodward High School.<\/p>\n
Danny was employed as a sales agent for Taylor Hyundai in Perrysburg and Dave White Chevrolet in Maumee. A music promoter as well, he booked bands for many concerts in the Toledo area. Daniel enjoyed going to antique auctions. More than anything he loved being with family and friends. He was a true \u201cpeople-person\u201d.<\/p>\n
Daniel is survived by his mother Melinda S\u00e1nchez and father Pablo S. Pecina; children, Staff Sgt. Maricia (Ramiro) Rodr\u00edguez, Daniel Barboza II, Melainia Barboza, and Melia Barboza; and grandchildren, Jamell Cole and Camila Rodr\u00edguez. Also surviving are his siblings, Sabina Rodr\u00edguez, Alfredo Jaso, and Alicia (Chaz) Boes; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ram\u00f3n and Alicia Barboza; uncle, Roberto \u201cBob\u201d Guerrero; and nephew, Sebastian \u201cSob Sob\u201d Guerrero III.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 24 from 3-8 p.m. at\u00a0Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe<\/em><\/strong>, 114 E. Alexis Rd.\u00a0 The funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Carl Jackson presiding.
