\nSuperior Street at Madison Avenue
\nToledo\u2019s dance community takes to the streets again this year! In conjunction with\u00a0Momentum Festival\u2019s<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0full line-up of art and culture activities, Dancin\u2019 in the Streets helps to \u201ckick off\u201d The Arts Commission\u2019s 65th anniversary celebration with an afternoon line-up of live contemporary, ethnic, traditional and interactive dance performances.<\/p>\n

Art Loop: Poetry Slam<\/strong>
\nFriday, November 8<\/strong>\u00a0| 6-9 pm
\nCollingwood Arts Center | 2413 Collingwood Blvd.
\nThis first-of-its-kind event in Toledo \u2013 held in the historic Collingwood Arts Center \u2013 spotlights talented local and regional poets and spoken word artists. The evening features a poetry slam competition, live music, ekphrastic and interactive writing activities, and a selection of CAC artists\u2019 tables. Free and open to the public. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.<\/p>\n

Momentum Festival 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us for Momentum 2024 on\u00a0September 20-22<\/strong>! This year’s festival will be on N. Superior St., between Madison Ave. and Adams St., with both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to explore. This space provides an opportunity to utilize Toledo’s fabric and architecture to create a sense of density, focus, and intimacy.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Local Artist Exhibition<\/strong>\u00a0will provide venues for shared experience and connection for our local artists.\u00a0Anchor Art<\/strong>\u00a0– large scale, interactive, and spectacle artworks – will be placed throughout the event to encourage moments of discovery for attendees. The\u00a0Momentum | Intersection<\/strong>\u00a0glass exhibition will open Friday, September 20th at the Toledo Museum of Art\u2019s Glass Pavilion. An\u00a0Artist Market<\/strong>\u00a0will be set up Saturday & Sunday with work available for purchase from local sellers.\u00a0Performances<\/strong>\u00a0of all types and a\u00a0Film Showcase<\/strong>\u00a0will happen throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

Fall Fundraiser Featuring Local Artists<\/em><\/p>\n

Be inspired for holiday gift giving and beautiful d\u00e9cor by talented local artists. Artwork from over 20 local artists will be available for viewing and purchase at the historic Libbey House in the Old West End neighborhood of Toledo. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy beverages, appetizers, and the holiday d\u00e9cor of the Libbey House.<\/p>\n
