October 9, 2024 – Toledo, OH – Women of Toledo is thrilled to announce their 7th Annual Intercultural Gala – Global Gala. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at The HeART Gallery.
The Intercultural Gala is a fundraiser for the Women of Toledo to provide cross-cultural education and interaction, which leads to global understanding, innovation, and a more inclusive community. The Gala will benefit, Women of Toledo’s ongoing work to benefit women through education, engagement, and empowerment.
The Fashion Show will feature traditional cultural attire, as well as inspired and modern takes by local designers including Simply D’Vine Boutique, Satrangi, and Folkorico Fashion. The event will also feature cuisine from ethnic restaurants, highlighting the diversity of the greater Toledo region with Lee’s Market, Balance Pan Asian, La Fiesta, Jikoni, and more. There will be a showcase of performances by the Aegela Centers for Middle Eastern Dance, El Corazon de Mexico Ballet Foklorico, DivaDance Toledo with global music curated by DJ Amjad!
Our silent auction will feature cultural artwork by local artists, with restaurant and local business gift cards, jewelry, and exclusive experiences as raffle items and more opportunities to engage, donate, and participate to sustain our programs, services, forums, and overall operations.
The gala is open to everyone, and guests are encouraged to wear their own ethnic or traditional attire. Tickets can be purchased through the Women of Toledo website at www.womenoftoledo.org.
