We’re ringing in 2023 by dropping 23,000 bouncy balls!
TOLEDO, Ohio – The best New Year celebration is back, and it’s bigger, better and bouncier than ever! Join us on December 30, 2022 for the New Year’s Eve EVE Bouncy Ball Drop at Imagination Station as we say goodbye to 2022 and usher in a fresh new year!
At 2:23pm, TENS OF THOUSANDS of bouncy balls will drop from three locations in the science center. We’re talking 23,000 balls raining down from the ceiling to welcome 2023 in epic fashion. The largest drop is located in the building’s lower atrium.
Visitors can spend the day at Imagination Station participating in different hands-on activities:
- Make wire and bottle cap noisemakers
- Create a sound sandwich noisemaker
- Build a shaker noisemaker
- Decorate 2023 foam glasses with pom-poms, feathers and more
- Explore all the Learning Worlds, attractions and exhibits including the Science of Guinness World Records.
RSVPs are not required, tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that visitors and members arrive early to ensure access to this popular event as we expect a very large crowd. The closer we get to 2:23pm, the more likely it is that we’ll reach building capacity. Members do not have to pay admission as it’s included in their membership.
