Throughout January 2023, the Columbia Branch of the Lorain Public Library will be accepting donations for cat and dog food for the Berea ARF Pet Pantry, which supports community members who need assistance providing for their pets.
ARF believes that no family or individual should feel the need to surrender their pet because of temporary financial hardship.
The new Pet Pantry is here to support members of surrounding communities who need assistance in providing food for their pets. As supplies of donated food allow, ARF is offering dog food, cat food and kitty litter on a weekly basis to families in need.
The Pet Pantry is located at 10015 East River Road, and is open from 10:00 am to noon on Sundays. Proof of eligibility is not currently required, and donations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
