Toledo Opera and Ohio Living Swan Creek will host an intergenerational event, a Cinderella Royal-Tea on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ohio Living Swan Creek (5916 Cresthaven Lane, Toledo, Ohio 43614). Tickets can be purchased at toledoopera.org.

To celebrate the upcoming performance of Cinderella, this intergenerational tea party will feature food, crafts, prizes, and a meet-and-greet with Cinderella stars Sarah Coit and David Walton. Based on themes from Rossini’s Cinderella, guests will work together to create a traveling kindness garden which will be on display in various locations at Ohio Living Swan Creek.

“This fun intergenerational event was the brainchild of opera volunteer and event planner extraordinaire, Rebecca Conklin Kleiboemer. She last worked with Toledo Opera on our Bon Appetit evening in January of 2020,” shared Toledo Opera Executive Director Suzanne Rorick. “We are also so pleased to be partnering with Ohio Living Swan Creek. We have many opera season ticket holders who are a part of their community, so there is a natural collaboration for Toledo Opera!”

“We’re proud to partner with the Toledo Opera to celebrate the opening of Cinderella, and host a first-of-its kind intergenerational event on our campus,” said Tim Phillips, Executive Director, Ohio Living Swan Creek.
