On Sunday, June 12, 2022, Latins United awarded scholarships to students in or on their way to college. This year they only had four students submit applications and each one was awarded a $1,000 scholarship on behalf of Latins United. The recipients were: Kathryn Sholl, a graduate from Bowsher High School, attending The University of Toledo in Fall of 2022. Ricardo Hernandez, a former Waite High School student, who now attends The University of Toledo.
Julia Campos, currently going to Lourdes University and majoring in Criminal Justice. Juliana Barcenas, a graduate from Waite High School and is going to the Ohio State University in the Fall.
