Each year, we set aside time to appreciate and acknowledge the individuals and families who help children in foster care establish, strengthen and maintain healthy family connections.
We encourage you to make a plan to support youth in foster care year-round! There are approximately 10,000 Michigan youth in foster care. Currently, the highest need is for individuals and families to care for teenagers and sibling groups. If you or someone you know is interested in fostering, please contact the Foster Care Navigator Program (www.fcnp.org).
