CLEVELAND: Nov. 16, 2023: On this date, the Cleveland Heritage Medal, which is bestowed upon individuals whose significant contributions through leadership, collaboration and service have left an indelible mark on all spheres of the Cleveland community, was awarded to José Feliciano Sr. It is the City’s highest award and modeled on the congressional medal of honor.
Past recipients include: former mayors George Voinovich and Michael White; Dr. Toby Cosgrove (CEO of the Cleveland Clinic); Beth Mooney (CEO of Keybank); Steve Minter (CEO of the Cleveland Foundation); and Mal Mixon (CEO of Invacare).
Mr. Feliciano, a retired attorney, is the president of the Hispanic Roundtable and has aided the Latino community in many projects and respects. La Prensa wishes the very best for Mr. Feliciano. ¡Felicidades! .
