On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Toledo held its annual NAMIWalks event @ Middlegrounds Metropark in Toledo, Ohio. This event is a walk in support of people affected by mental illness. This year, the event brought together 689 people and had 71 teams of people interested in supporting this organization and its cause. This event raised $90,544 this year and is one of NAMI’s largest fundraising events because it brings together a huge and diverse group of individuals and businesses interested in raising funds, the awareness of mental health, and combating the stigmas around mental illness. It had face painting, food trucks, and buttons that participants of NAMI Creative Expressions, the Create Now Art Workshop, designed and distributed during the event. El sábado 17 de mayo de 2025, la Alianza Nacional de Enfermedades Mentales (NAMI) del área metropolitana de Toledo celebró su evento anual NAMIWalks en el parque metropolitano Middlegrounds de Toledo, Ohio. Este evento apoya a las personas afectadas por enfermedades mentales. Este año, el evento tenía 689 personas y 71 equipos interesados en apoyar a esta organización y su causa. Este evento recaudó $90,544, y es uno de los eventos de recaudación de fondos más grandes de NAMI porque reúne a un grupo enorme y diverso de personas y empresas interesadas en recaudar fondos, concientizar sobre la salud mental, y a combatir los estigmas de las enfermedades mentales. El evento tenía pintura facial, food trucks, y botones que los participantes de NAMI Creative Expressions, el Create Now Art Workshop, diseñaron y distribuyeron durante el evento.
