Festival Latino was held in Columbus, Ohio, from Saturday, August 9, through Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Genoa Park behind the Center of Science & Industry (COSI). This event was filled with people shopping for Latinx products and buying from vendors like La Mariposa or La Herradura, as they also enjoyed food from various Latinx countries. The music featured a wide variety of Latinx styles, including acoustic guitarists, DJs, and a full band on stage. It was also nice to see The Ohio State University (OSU) Latinx Studies and the Spanish & Portuguese department in attendance, and with a table sharing programs such as Spanish classes for the community and people over 60 (online and in-person), as well as preschool bilingual classes. Starting on September 10 and running until October 8, 2025, OSU will host a Latin American Film Festival on campus at 5:30 p.m. and online (registration required). El Festival Latino se celebró en Columbus, Ohio, del sábado 9 al domingo 10 de agosto de 2025, en el Parque Genoa, detrás del Centro de Ciencia e Industria (COSI). Este evento estuvo lleno de personas comprando productos Latinx y comprando de vendedores como La Mariposa o La Herradura, mientras también disfrutaban de comida de varios países Latinx. La música incluyó una amplia variedad de estilos latinos, incluyendo guitarristas acústicos, DJ, y una banda completa en el escenario. También fue un placer contar con la presencia de Estudios Latinos y del departamento de Español y Portugués de La Universidad Estatal de Ohio (OSU), y con sus programas y clases de español para la comunidad y personas mayores de 60 años (en línea y presenciales), y clases bilingües para preescolares. A partir del 10 de septiembre y hasta el 8 de octubre de 2025, OSU organizará un Festival de Cine Latinoamericano en el campus a las 5:30 p.m. y en línea (se requiere inscripción).
