El Centro Hub is hosting its 2nd Annual Community Health Fair on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sofia Quintero Arts & Cultural “Event” Center at 1225 Broadway St., in Toledo, Ohio.
This bilingual (Spanish/English) event is FREE, open to the public, and will have 20+ organizations in attendance, with some providing direct services, such as the:
- Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Van for those needing a mammogram. Pre-registration is required —call 419-241-1655 because space is limited.
- UToledo’s Mobile Health Unit will be offering free biometric screenings, i.e., blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, BMI — and no insurance or ID is needed.
- Central Outreach Wellness Center will be providing free and confidential STI testing with same-day care connection.
- Toledo/Lucas County CareNet will be there to assist with Medicaid enrollment, insurance assistance, and bilingual support and translation.
- In addition, there will be other resources, such as food assistance, mental health support, and much more.
The event is sponsored by Anthem and presented in partnership with Toledo/Lucas County CareNet and UHealth.

El Centro Hub organiza su 2ª Feria Anual de Salud Comunitaria el martes 21 de abril de 2026, de 10:00 a 15:00, en el Centro de “Eventos” de Artes y Cultura del Centro de Sofía Quintero, ubicado en 1225 Broadway St., en Toledo, Ohio.
Este evento bilingüe (español/inglés) es GRATUITO al público y contará con la asistencia de 20+ organizaciones, algunas de las cuales ofrecen servicios directos, como la:
- Camioneta de Mamografía de Mercy Health para quienes necesiten una mamografía. Se requiere preinscripción — llama al 419-241-1655 porque son limitadas.
- Unidad Móvil de Salud de UToledo ofrecerá pruebas biométricas gratuitas, como presión arterial, colesterol, glucosa, IMC — y no se necesita seguro ni identificación.
- Central Outreach Wellness Center ofrecerá pruebas gratuitas y confidenciales de ITS con conexión con cuidado el mismo día.
- Toledo/Lucas County CareNet estará presente para ayudar con la inscripción en Medicaid, la asistencia al seguro, y el apoyo y traducción bilingües.
- Además, habrá otros recursos, como asistencia alimentaria, apoyo a la salud mental y mucho más.
