(Toledo, Ohio)- The Toledo Lucas County Public Library teamed up with the Toledo Mud Hens, Toledo Walleye, and NFL player Chris Wormley for an expanded Main Library Takeover that featured free family sports activities, an indoor hockey rink, a rooftop football clinic, community resource tables, and interactive experiences for the whole family throughout the library this past Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12-noon until 4 p.m. On the main library’s rooftop garden, the Wormley Family Foundation hosted a youth football clinic. The Wormley Family Foundation, launched in 2023 by Whitmer High School graduate and NFL player Chris Wormley and his wife Alexis. It is a Toledo-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting children and families through literacy initiatives, mental health support, youth football camps and charitable community programs.
