ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council’s (OMSDC) 2026 Annual Awards Gala on Friday, November 20th, 2026, will again feature community-focused award categories. These awards recognize nonprofit, government, and other organizations and individuals who are advancing supplier diversity, driving systemic change, and uplifting underserved communities. Community award nominations are now being accepted through the form below.
2026 COMMUNITY AWARDS
Community Impact Award
Recognizes an individual or organization that has delivered measurable benefit to underserved or at-risk communities through economic opportunity, supplier diversity, or community investment initiatives.
Policy & Advocacy Award
Honors an individual or organization that has advanced systemic change in procurement, supplier diversity, or economic inclusion policies, helping open pathways for minority businesses to grow and thrive.
Youth Entrepreneurship Award
Honors young innovators who showcase outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and leadership in developing impactful business solutions
AWARDS ELIGIBILITY
- Nominations may be submitted by OMSDC members, certified MBEs, community partners, chambers of commerce, and allied organizations.
- Nominees may be individuals, organizations, or partnerships that have shown demonstrable impact in Ohio.
- Only one nomination may be submitted per category.
- Organizations/individuals may self-nominate.
- All nominations must be submitted by Monday, October 12th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
