Whitebox and Facade grant opportunities
The City of Toledo Vibrancy Initiative 2025 includes the Whitebox and Facade grant opportunities. These grants aim to support businesses in enhancing operations and contributing to community vibrancy.
The minimum requirements to apply for the Facade Grant:
- Applicant owns the building for which they are applying.
- The applicant is in good standing with governmental entities
- Be located in the City of Toledo
- Have no active code violation citations
- Contain a first-floor commercial or industrial business or have a committed first-floor commercial or industrial tenant. Occupying companies must be registered with the City of Toledo.
Minimum Requirements to apply for the White Box Grant:
- Applicant owns the building for which they are applying.
- The applicant is in good standing with governmental entities
- Be located in the City of Toledo
- Contain a vacant first-floor commercial space
- Have no active code violation citations
If you meet the requirements above, your MBAC wants to support and help you with the filing process. On Tuesdays, we will hold “office hours” at the main library for eligible businesses that need assistance.
