JUDGES’ SECRETARY

Toledo Municipal Court – Judges’ Division

The Court is now accepting applications for the position of Judges’ Secretary.  Responsibilities include performing a variety of secretarial, receptionist and clerical functions for Judges and the Court Administrative staff.  Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with the public in a fast-paced environment.  Graduation from high school/GED certificate required.  Two (2) years secretarial experience required.  Completion of one year (30 semester hours) of an accredited business college or secretarial school may be substituted for one year of required experience.  Extensive knowledge of office procedures and computer competency required.  Good knowledge of court system preferred, but not required.  Demonstrated ability to transcribe dictation preferred, but not required.  Potential candidates must pass a background check.  Starting rate is $21.242 per hour.  Full rate is $23.602 per hour.
