The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) seeks proposals for a complete upgrade
of its maintenance facility at 1127 W. Central Avenue in Toledo. TARTA and AECOM
previously conducted a comprehensive facilities audit, a copy of which will be available for
review by any architectural and engineering firm wishing to participate in this Request for
Qualification.
TARTA is accepting electronic bid submissions. Bidders shall create a free account with

TARTA is seeking reorientation or redesigning of the entire workshop area to improve workadjacency
relationships. With TARTA’s commitment and transitioning to a Zero-Emissions
Bus environment, the successful firm will also incorporate a separate area specifically for
storage of electric vehicle parts, tools and other components. The successful Architectural
or Engineering firm will be required to review the current state of all work lifts and make
recommendations regarding appropriate lifts to handle the weight of our new Electric
Buses.
An optional pre-proposal meeting will take place July 30 at 9 a.m. The deadline for question
submissions is August 11 at 3 p.m., and final proposals are due August 22 at 3 p.m.
