Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package vanilla pudding mix (French vanilla works great)
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Sugar (to taste)
- Cookies (Maria cookies, Chessmen, or vanilla wafers)
- Ripe bananas (sliced)
Instructions
- Cream Cheese Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined and creamy.
- Set aside.
- Prepare the Pudding
- In a separate bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package directions.
- Set aside to thicken.
- Whipped Cream
- In another bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and sugar.
- Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Taste and adjust sugar as needed.
- Combine
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.
- Then fold in the prepared pudding until everything is well combined.
Assembly (Layering)
1 Spread a thin layer of pudding mixture on the bottom.
2 Add a layer of cookies.
3 Add a layer of sliced bananas.
4 Add another layer of pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers 2 more times, ending with pudding on top.
Tips
- Chill for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) so the flavors blend and cookies soften.
- Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness and flavor
