Hosted in partnership with MIDAS U of M, the Introduction to Data Science and AI Summer Camp offers lectures and hands-on activities led by U of M professors and data science students where campers will learn all about data and analytics.
This camp will take place July 11th-15th, 2022 at the Michigan Science Center in Detroit and at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor Campus (transportation will be provided). Camp hours are approximately 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the U of M campus and its data science programs. Students in demographic groups who are under-represented in STEM fields are particularly welcome! Registration is $25, and students will receive a $25 gift card upon completion of the camp. We are so excited to offer an in-person camp experience for learners in grades 1-8 this summer. Each week will feature different activities designed around a central theme, with interactive activities designed to connect campers’ discoveries to current scientific research and progress. Space will be limited in order to ensure social distancing is maintained and to ensure campers get personalized attention.
