DETROIT – The contributions of Latinos in baseball will once again be celebrated by the Detroit Tigers, as the club hosts their 18th annual ¡Fiesta Tigres! celebration, presented by Miller Lite, at Comerica Park from August 4-5. The Tigers will welcome the Tampa Bay Rays for a three-game series, with tickets available at tigers.com/fiesta.

The festivities begin with “Salsa Night” for the “Party in the Park,” presented by Casamigos Tequila, on Friday, August 4. Fans can enjoy dancing, signature cocktail and live music on the Comerica Landing before first pitch at 6:40 p.m., followed by postgame fireworks.

As part of the “¡Gracias, Miggy!” campaign, the Tigers will celebrate Miguel Cabrera’s legendary career with the Tigers on Saturday, August 5, before first pitch at 1:10 p.m. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m., and the first 15,000 fans ages 21 and over will receive a Miguel Cabrera Tigres jersey, courtesy of Miller Lite. Fans can arrive early to enjoy pregame activities and an autograph session with Latino players.

The Tigers will also hold a ceremony celebrating the club’s Latin American players and coaches, and recognize Cabrera as the 2023 ¡Fiesta Tigres! honoree. The ¡Fiesta Tigres! game will be broadcast in Spanish on 1270 AM The Bet Detroit.
