March 10, 2022: The Toledo Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL) is working with Mercy Health and Get Covered Ohio to connect Lucas County residents with vital health care resources.
Mercy Health Community Nurses
Community Nurses will be at a TLCPL location on Fridays from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to examine blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight screenings. First come, first served.
- First Friday: Main Library
- Second Friday: West Toledo Branch
- Third Friday: Oregon Branch
- Fourth Friday: Holland Branch
Toledo-Lucas County CareNet
TLCPL is working with Toledo-Lucas County CareNet to connect Lucas County residents with Trained Navigators for health care resources. These Trained Navigators will help with the enrollment process and help find the right health care plan.
Appointments required, schedule an appointment with Toledo/Lucas County CareNet Navigators to sign up for Marketplace insurance during special enrollment periods or to apply for Medicaid.
